EKVATOR is one of the outstanding multicultural music group in Czech Republic constituted by musicians from Iraq, Armenia, Georgia, Hungary, Chechnia and Czech.

EKVATOR is one of the outstanding multicultural music group in Czech Republic constituted by musicians from Iraq, Armenia, Georgia, Hungary, Chechnia and Czech Rep. Core of the project was founded in refugee camps in Czech Rep. The leader of the band Annas Younis comes from Iraq and he travelled all the way over Jordan, Russia, Ukraine, Slovakia towards to Czech Rep. The repertoire is flavored by distinctive Algerian Rai mixed with accordion and Iraqi rhythms.
